My condolences to Doug's family.  I did not personally know Doug however can see that he was a very accomplished man and did many great things.  Especially noting Doug's contribution to this country obtaining the rank of Captain in the U.S. Army and earning his degree in Physics.  From one Veteran to another, thank you for serving your country so honorably.  I can tell, you were a great man and will be terribly missed by many !

My condolences to the McMann family. I didn't personally know Doug but we graduated from Perry Hall together and that's enough. He and I ate some of the same dirt serving our armed forces so we have one other thing in common. Although, I served in the Marine Corps we are brother in arms. Doug and I are the same age and what comes to mind is that tomorrow is not promised. My brother, you will be missed and never forgotten. RIP....

Doug and I were classmates since 1970 at Gunpowder Elementary. I lost touch after high school but I ran into him at the Batter's Box in Perry Hall in the early 1990's. I sat there for a couple of hours listening to his stories about Desert Storm.  He was a good soul and he will be missed.
